She Soars Psychiatry
Stop The Stigma Scholarship

For graduating seniors of both Sisters & Silverton high schools with an interest in applying professional & personal skills to help improve mental health outcomes for future generations and lessen the stigma surrounding mental health care.

Graduating Students

"Mental health is nothing to be ashamed of, but stigma &  bias shame us all."

About the scholarship

At She Soars Psychiatry, LLC, we believe that mental health is a community responsibility—one that requires the collective effort of healthcare providers, schools, families, workplaces, and community organizations. With mental health challenges affecting us all, reducing stigma and expanding access to care has never been more urgent. Providing pathways to more accessible and affordable mental health services is critical in addition to allowing for safe spaces to share difficult experiences

To support the next generation of mental health advocates, we offer annual scholarships to graduating high school seniors in Silverton and Sisters, Oregon who are committed to promoting emotional wellness and challenging stigma.

Each year, two $2,500 scholarships are awarded. Recipients are selected by a committee of healthcare and education professionals who share our mission of creating a more compassionate, mentally healthy future.

A five person committee of healthcare & education-based professionals has been appointed to review applications and choose award recipients.
